1. Định nghĩa phản xạ
Xuất phát từ quan niệm về sự hợp nhất giữa cơ thể và môi trường. Paplôp cho rằng: phản xạ là những yếu tố của sự thích ứng thường xuyên hay là thăng bằng thường xuyên giữa thân thể và môi trường hoặc có thể nói: phản xạ là hoạt động trả lời của cơ thể đối sở hữu sự thích ứng của cơ quan nhận cảm, được thực hiện qua hệ thần kinh trung ương.
Ví dụ: Sờ tay vào nước nóng thì rút tay lại.
2. Cung phản xạ
Cung phản xạ là đường truyền của xung động tâm thần từ cơ quan thụ cảm qua trung ương thần kinh tới cơ quan thực hiện.
Cung phản xạ gồm 5 khâu:
– Bộ phận nhận cảm.
-Đường thần kinh truyền cảm giác (dây thần kinh hướng tâm).
-Trung ương thần kinh gồm: não bộ, tuỷ sống.
– Đường thần kinh truyền vận động (dây thần kinh li tâm).
-Cơ quan thực hành (cơ quan hiệu ứng).
Phản xạ không chỉ dừng lại ở sự trả lời kích thích mà từ cơ quan trả lời có những xung động thần kinh chạy ngược về hệ thần kinh trung ương để báo cáo lại kết quả của hành động đã thực hành (đó là tín hiệu phản hồi hay đường shop ngược). Tại trung ương thần kinh sở hữu sự đối chiếu có dự định ban đầu, nếu nên thiết sẽ đưa ra mệnh lệnh mới để bổ sung, điều chỉnh. Do đó đường đi của phản xạ là một vòng khép kín, hay là một vòng xoáy chôn ốc cũ mở rộng mãi ra do kết quả của tín hiệu phản hồi. Chính bởi vậy mới có định nghĩa vòng phản xạ.
3.Trung khu thần kinh
Trong hệ thần kinh trung ương sở hữu những vùng tương tác chặt chẽ sở hữu từng chức vụ sinh lí của cơ thể, mỗi vùng như vậy gọi là trung khu thần kinh.
Trung khu thần kinh là 1 nhóm những tế bào thần kinh tham gia điều khiển một phản xạ hoặc điều hoà 1 chức năng nào đó.
Một trung khu thần kinh với thể nằm ở 1 hay phổ biến nơi.
Ví dụ: Trung khu hô hấp vừa nằm ở hành tay, vừa nằm ở vỏ não.
4.Hoạt động phản xạ dưới

4.2. Điều kiện để ra đời phản xạ có điều kiện
Phản xạ có điều kiện được thành lập trên cơ sở một phản xạ không điều kiện. Hay nói cách khác. cơ sở sinh lí của phản xạ mang điều kiện là phản xạ không điều kiện.
Tác nhân kích thích sở hữu điều kiện nên thúc đẩy trứ tác nhân kích thích ko điều kiện và khoảng phương pháp giữa hai tác nhân ko quá lâu.
Phải thường xuyên củng cố. Nếu không thường xuyên củng cố tác nhân kích thích không điều kiện thì phản xạ sẽ mất đi.
Đối tượng thực nghiệm phải có bộ phận nhận cảm lành mạnh và phần võ não tương ứng nguyên vẹn.
Cường độ kích thích của tác nhân mang điều kiện và tác nhân không điều kiện cần đủ mạnh và theo một tỷ lệ tương ứng. Thường tác nhân kích thích không điều kiện mạnh hơn tác nhân kích thích mang điều kiện.
Không có tác phân phá rối (kể cả bên ngoài và bên trong).
4.3. Cơ chế ra đời phản xạ mang điều kiện
+ Thí nghiệm của Paplốp:
Khi cho chó ăn thì chó ứa nước bọt. Đây là phản xạ mang điều kiện.
Bật đèn kết hợp mang cho chó ăn thì chó cũng tiết nước bọt. Làm thí nghiệm này lặp đi lặp lại rộng rãi lần. Kết quả là. chỉ bắt buộc bật đèn chó cũng tiết nước bọt. Đây là phản xạ mang điều kiện.
Sở dĩ bật đèn chó tiết nước miếng là do ở chó đã có mặt trên thị trường được đường shop thần kinh tạm bợ (đường mòn thần kinh) giữa trung khu tiếp nhân thức ăn và trung khu thị giác trên vỏ não.
+ Cơ chế
Khi cho chó ăn, thức ăn chạm vào lưỡi làm xuất hiện luồng xung động thần kinh truyền về trung khu ăn uống (ở hành tuỷ) và gây hưng phấn trung khu này. Từ trung khu ăn uống, hưng phấn được truyền tới tuyến nước bọt gây tiết nước bọt (phản xạ không điều kiện). Đồng thời, hưng phấn từ trung khu ăn uống cũng được truyền lên trung khu ăn uống ở vỏ não và làm cho trung khu này cũng bị hưng phấn.
Khi bật đèn tác nhân kích thích là ánh sáng sẽ tác động đến bộ phận nhận cảm ở mắt và làm cho bộ phận này bị hưng phấn. Hưng phấn đó được truyền qua dây thần kinh thị giác về trung khu thị giác trên vỏ não và cũng làm cho trung khu này bị hưng phấn.
Bật đèn kết hợp với cho chó ăn, như vậy cùng một lúc trên vỏ não có hai trung khu bị hưng phấn (trung khu ăn uống và trung khu thị giác). Sau nhiều lần tiến hành thí nghiệm này. dần dần trên vỏ não đã hình thành được đường liên hệ thần kinh tạm thời (đường mòn thần kinh) giữa hai trung khu đó.
Có hai giả thuyết giải thích về cơ chế hình thành đường liên hệ thần kinh tạm thời:
Giả thuyết một cho rằng: đường mòn thần kinh được hình thành do sự lan toả của hai trung khu đang cùng hưng phấn trên vỏ não.
Giả thuyết hai cho rằng: do có sự hút của trung khu hưng phấn ưu thế (trung khu ăn uống) đối với trung khu hưng phấn yếu hơn (trung khu thị giác).
Theo quan niệm của Paplốp: khi trên vỏ não có 2 trung khu thần kinh hưng phấn thì có hiện tượng khuếch tán từ trung khu yếu sang trung khu mạnh và lặp đi lặp lại nhiều lần thí nghiệm. thì mỗi lần sẽ để lại một dấu vết. Cuối cùng giữa hai trung khu đó đã thành lập được đường liên hệ thần kinh tạm thời.
Như vậy, đường liên hệ thần kinh tạm thời đã được hình thành giữa hai nhóm tế bào của vỏ não theo con đường nằm ngang vỏ não- vỏ não.
Sau Paplốp, người học trò của ông là Astrachian cũng làm thí nghiệm như trên. nhưng sau khi thí nghiệm đã hoàn thành. ông đã dào hẳn một rãnh giữa hai trung khu ăn uống và trung khu thị giác (nghĩa là làm cho 2 trung khu thần kinh này tách rời nhau ra) hoặc đào rãnh trước khi làm thí nghiệm. Kết quả phản xạ vẫn còn thực hiện. Điều đó chứng tỏ rằng đường liên hệ thần kinh tạm thời giữa 2 trung khu trên không nằm hoàn toàn trên vỏ não mà còn nằm ở dưới vỏ. Theo ông. khi hưng phấn vào đến đồi thị, thể lưới. nó có thể truyền đến các vùng khác của vỏ não, rồi lại truyền xuống dưới vỏ. rồi lại truyền lên vỏ não theo sơ đồ vỏ não – dưới vỏ não – vỏ não.
Astrachian và Cogan cũng đã tiến hành thí nghiệm bằng cách tách phần vỏ não nằm ngang giữa hai trung khu ăn uống và thị giác nhưng điều đó không ảnh hưởng đến việc hình thành đường liên thần kinh tạm thời. Từ đó các ông đã đưa ra giả thuyết rằng, việc hình thành đường liên hệ thần kinh tạm thời có sự tham gia của cấu trúc dưới vỏ (dồi thị, thể lưới).
Sau này Bêlencốp đưa ra một sơ đồ chung.
Ngoài ra. Từ cơ quan thực hiện có sự liên hệ ngược báo về hệ thần kinh trung ương về mức độ của phản ứng và từ đó hệ thần kinh trung ương lại có những mệnh lệnh để điều chỉnh tiếp phản ứng.
4.4. Phân loại phản xạ không điều kiện và phản xạ có điều kiện
+ Phản xạ không điều kiện gồm
– Phản xạ dinh dưỡng (phản xạ ăn uống): phản xạ bú, nuốt, nhai, tiết nước bọt, tiết dịch vị…
– Phản xạ tự vệ: là những phản xạ cử động tránh những kích thích đau và tránh những kích thích gây tổn thương.
– Phản xạ sinh dục: xuất hiện sau khi sinh ra, trong đó có những phản xạ mẫu tử (bản năng làm tổ, bản năng nuôi con…).
– Phản xạ cân bằng gồm:
Phản xạ cân bằng tư thế trong không gian.
Phản xạ cân bằng nội môi: cân bằng huyết áp, nồng độ axit trong máu, nhiệt độ, điều hoà các chất trong cơ thể.
– Phản xạ định hướng (phản xạ cái gì thế, phản xạ tò mò): là những phản xạ hướng về những kích thích mới lạ.
+ Phản xạ có điều kiện: Có nhiều loại, tuỳ thuộc vào tiêu chí
– Nếu lấy phản xạ không điều kiện làm tiêu chuẩn thì có thể phân phản xạ có điều kiện thành: phản xạ có điều kiện tự vệ, dinh dưỡng, sinh dục…
– Nếu lấy điều kiện xuất hiện và sự hình thành phản xạ có điều kiện làm tiêu chí thì có thể phân thành: phản xạ có điều kiện tự nhiên và phản xạ có điều kiện nhân tạo.
– Nếu xét về tính chất của kích thích có điều kiện thì có thể phân thành nhiều loại phản xạ có điều kiện. Chẳng hạn:
Phản xạ có điều kiện với kích thích từ các thụ quan bên trong.
Bưcốp đã làm thí nghiệm: nếu nhiều lần bơm nước nóng có pha thuốc ngủ vào trực tràng làm chó ngủ, về sau chỉ cần bơm nước nóng không có thuốc ngủ cũng gây được phản xạ có điều kiện ngủ nhưng không phải với tác động của nhân tố có điều kiện, mà là với dấu vết của sự tác động đó trong trung ương thần kinh
Phản xạ có điều kiện đối với tác nhân kích thích là thời gian: thời gian cũng có thể tác động như là một tác nhân kích thích có điều kiện.
Loại phản xạ này là cơ sở sinh lí của việc tuân thủ một loại chế độ thời gian chặt chẽ trong mọi sinh hoạt của trẻ.
Phản xạ có điều kiện nhiều cấp: là phản xạ được hình thành trên cơ sở phản xạ có điều kiện đã có một cách vững chắc. ở trẻ em có thể thành lập được phản xạ có điều kiện cấp sáu.
5. Các quy luật của hoạt động thần kinh cấp cao
5.1. Quy luật chuyển từ hưng phấn sang ức chế
Paplốp đã nêu lên nội dung của quy luật này như sau: “Bất cứ một kích thích nào kéo dài ít nhiều khi đã chạm đến một điểm nhất định của bán cầu đại não. dù cho ý nghĩa sinh lồn của nó to lớn đến đâu di chăng nữa và tất nhiên là nếu nó chẳng có hậu quả gì đối với những kích thích đồng thời của những điểm khác thì nhất định sớm hay muộn nó sẽ dẫn đến trạng thái buồn ngủ và đến giấc ngủ”.
Ví dụ: Tiếng ru nhè nhẹ, kéo dài của bà, của mẹ làm cho cháu bé ngủ dần. Hoặc học sinh sẽ buồn ngủ khi thầy giảng bài đều đều, buồn tẻ.
Quá trình chuyển từ hưng phấn sang ức chế có thể diễn ra một cách nhanh chóng, đột ngột, nhưng sự chuyển hoá ấy cũng có thể xảy ra một cách dần dần qua một số giai đoạn (hay pha) quá độ.
Quy luật này có ý nghĩa bảo vệ rất lớn đối với các tổ chức thần kinh ở võ não và đối với toàn bộ cơ thể.
5.2. Quy luật tương tác giữa cường độ kích thích và cường độ phản xạ
Nội dung của quy luật này như sau: trong một phản xạ có điều kiện, kích thích có cường độ càng mạnh thì cường độ phản xạ cũng càng lớn. Hay nói cách khác, cường độ phản xạ có điều kiện tỷ lệ thuận với cường độ của kích thích.
Quy luật này mang tính chất tương đối, nghĩa là không phải quy luật này đều dùng trong mọi trường hợp. Nếu kích thích quá yếu (dưới ngưỡng) hoặc quá mạnh (trên ngưỡng) thì khi kích thích càng tăng phản xạ sẽ càng giảm vì xuất hiện ức chế vượt giới hạn.
5.3. Quy luật khuếch tán và tập trung của hưng phấn và ức chế
Tại một điểm trên vỏ não đang hưng phấn hoặc ức chế được lan toả ra xung quanh theo hình thức phóng xa. đó là quá trình khuếch tán của hưng phấn hoặc ức chế.
Sự khuếch tán của hưng phấn xảy ra từ 0.5 – 1s. còn khuếch tán của ức chế tuỳ từng loại mà kéo dài từ 20s – 5′. Mức độ khuếch tán ra xung quanh phụ thuộc vào sự hưng phấn của các tiêu điểm trên vỏ não và cường độ của kích thích tác động. Nếu trên vỏ não có 2 điểm cùng hưng phấn thì khuếch tán hưng phấn của điểm yếu sẽ bị hút về điểm mạnh. Đây là cơ sở để hình thành con đường mòn thần kinh.
Tiếp sau sự khuếch tán của hưng phấn hoặc ức chế là quá trình tập trung của hưng phấn hoặc ức chế. Quá trình tập trung của hưng phấn là 1 phút và của ức chế kéo dài 20 phút.
Sự khuếch tán và tập trung của hưng phấn và ức chế không những theo chiều nằm ngang của vỏ não mà còn theo đường: vỏ não- dưới vỏ- võ não.
Sự khuếch tán và tập trung của hưng phấn và ức chế trên vỏ não là một hiện tượng mang khuếch tán (lan toả) và tập trung.
Ví dụ: Quá trình từ buồn ngủ. ngáp. “díp mắt”, ngủ gật rồi ngủ say thực sự chính là quá trình lan toả của ức chế từ một điểm ban dầu nào đó trên vỏ não ra toàn bộ vỏ não. Và quá trình ngược lại, ngủ sáng thức dậy là quá trình tập trung của ức chế sau khi đã lan rộng khắp vỏ não.
5.4. Quy luật cảm ứng qua lại
Cảm ứng là khả năng gây ra quá trình đối lập ở xung quanh mình (không gian), hoặc tiếp sau mình (thời gian) của các quá trình thần kinh cơ bản (hưng phấn và ức chế).
Chẳng hạn: Khi một điểm nào ở trên vỏ não hưng phấn thì sẽ làm cho điểm khác ở xung quanh ở trạng thái ức chế. Đó là cảm ứng theo không gian hay còn gọi là cảm ứng đồng thời. Hoặc một điểm nào đó của vỏ não lúc này ở trạng thái ức chế thì sau một thời gian cũng chính điểm đó lại chuyển sang trạng thái hưng phấn mà không cần tác động hỗ trợ của một tác nhân ngoại lai nào. Đó là hiện tượng cảm ứng theo thời gian hay còn gọi là cảm ứng nối tiếp.
Theo Paplốp có 2 loại cảm ứng: cảm ứng dương tính (sự phát sinh ức chế gây nên hưng phấn) và cảm ứng âm tính (sự phát sinh hưng phấn gây nên ức chế). Cả 2 loại cảm ứng đều có thể xảy ra theo không gian và thời gian. Chẳng hạn khi ta chú ý vào một đối tượng nào đó thì các sự vật khác ở xung quanh bị “bỏ rơi” đó là hiện tượng cảm ứng âm tính theo không gian. Nếu ta nhắm mắt lại 5 – 7 phút sau đó mở mắt ra thì ta có thể nhìn rất rõ dưới ánh sáng mờ (đối với người bình thường) vì hưng phấn ở trung khu thị giác tăng lên rõ rệt, đó là hiện tượng cảm ứng dương tính theo thời gian.
Hiện tượng cảm ứng qua lại xảy ra do tác động của nhiều yếu tố, nhưng trước hết nó phụ thuộc vào trạng thái hoạt động của trung khu bị kích thích. Nếu trạng thái hoạt động của trung khu bị kích thích mạnh. tập trung thì khi kích thích sẽ gây ra hiện tượng cảm ứng. Còn nếu yếu (hoặc mạnh quá mức) sẽ gây ra hiện tượng lan toả. Vì vậy, chính nhờ sự phát triển của hiện tượng cảm ứng mà đảm bảo được mối liên hệ chính xác nhất giữa cơ thể và môi trường.
5.5. Quy luật hoạt động có hệ thống của vỏ não
Để thích ứng một cách tốt nhất với môi trường, não bộ cần phải hình thành khả năng phản ứng lại toàn bộ những hệ thống kích thích trong khi phân biệt một cách chính xác hệ thống này với hệ thống khác. Bên cạnh đó bất cứ một hình thức nào đó của con người (như cử động. hô hấp. ăn uống…) đều là những tổ hợp hay hệ thống hoạt động của nhiều phản ứng.
Hoạt động tổng hợp của vỏ não đã hợp nhất những kích thích riêng lẻ hay những phản ứng riêng lẻ thành một tổ hợp hoàn chỉnh, hay thành những hệ thống gọi là thể thống nhất trong hoạt động của vỏ não. Một trong những biểu hiện quan trọng nhất của tính hệ thống trong hoạt động của vỏ não là hình thành “định hình động lực” (quen gọi là “động hình”). Đó là một hệ thống phản xạ có điều kiện được lặp đi lặp lại theo một trình tự nhất định và theo khoảng cách thời gian nhất định trong một thời gian dài. Khi hệ thống này bền vững chỉ cần phản xạ đầu xảy ra là toàn bộ những phản xạ tiếp theo sẽ xảy ra theo lối “dây chuyền” (nghĩa là một kích thích có thể đại diện cho toàn bộ các kích thích khác để gây ra phản xạ). Chính vì vậy, động hình là cơ sở của những hành động tự động hoá hay thói quen.
